It is a competition designed for teams from Generation Z to create and showcase impact projects addressing social issues and sustainability.
Participants must be students or the general public aged between 18 to 26 years old and identify as Generation Z.
Projects can cover a wide range of social issues such as environmental sustainability, health and wellbeing, education, diversity, and inclusion, social entrepreneurship, poverty alleviation, community development, etc.
Submissions should include a project description, goals, timeline, and why the idea should be supported by the public. A short video or project poster is encouraged.
Yes, both individual and team submissions are allowed. Team members should also be from Generation Z aged between 18-26 years old.
Projects will be evaluated based on creativity, feasibility, potential impact, total fundraising, and the clarity of the presentation.
A panel of judges, consisting of experts in relevant fields, will assess and score the projects. 20 shortlisted campaigns will be selected to undergo coaching clinics and 5 winners will be selected based on the cumulative scores.
Prizes may include additional grant up to RM50,000, mentorship opportunities, networking events, and exposure through various media channels.
There is no fee to enter this competition.
Winning projects will be featured on Kitafund’s website, social media, and could potentially receive support for further development or implementation.
Yes, there will be a submission deadline on 30th June 2024.
Fund disbursement can be requested via Whatsapp Group channel every Tuesday and Thursday of working day. Link disbursement will be given and must be filled up one day before fund disbursement day.
For project winners, the Kitafund team will supervise the program implementation by going to the field together with the participants to make the project a success.
